Service For Peace Leaders bring a big Benefit to the Community!

we have a big event coming up that we would love for you to share with your community...

January 19th... Brick House Community hosts the Make a Difference Day with Service for Peace! 1101 So. 2nd Street at the corner of St. Catherine We welcome everyone!! 8am - 2pm

Get your work clothes on and Join volunteers along with Home Depot Specialists to make the Brick House a better resource for the Old Louisville Community.... Sign up for some Service Learning and skillsharing on your day off while giving back to the people who give all year around!

Neighbors and Community Partners are welcome to spend the morning with volunteers honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. vision of empowering peole and supporting our effort in underserved communities while learning more from experts who will be working on improving our site through weatherization/insulation, interior improvements including home decor tips/building code renovation standards, and conservation/greenovation techniques.

This community work project will include specific skills exploration activities. All interested folks are encouraged to RSVP so that we can provide food and drinks. All specialized technicians and local businesses are encouraged to lead an activity or donate/contribute resources and door prizes!!!
