How do we get our voices heard???
Our community is actively pursuing a biking lifestyle on many accounts and with folks of all ages participating as members of a movement for social change...
So whats next... Mayor's Hike and Bike?? Ride to Work with City Support... Park and Tarc?? Sure why not... but there has got to be more and there has to be a safer way of doing all this together.
We are proposing a community-based survey be run this summer to understand and gather facts about the alternatives to combustion-based transport as well as alternatives to further roadway development. Anyone interested in these ideas is welcome to gather and present or propose your city wide solutions, neighborhood applications or personal resolutions on the issue.
We welcome your input and your ideas and would love to spend some time documenting these expressions as a part of organizing a film on the subject to be used in outreach around the city. West and and East end alike do not seem to be benefitting from the grand scale of corporate progress and its time to take it back down to the grass roots where change becomes sustainable...

We are currently looking to establish a BRYCC Outreach Initiative in the form a door-to-door survey. Building Resources Yielding Cultural Change seeks to educate, empower, and encourage community partnership between local organizations to explore our future of Alternative and Sustainable Transportaion in Metro Louisville and then use those findings in creative forms of expression in the coming year to influence and propose appropriate change.
Anyone interested in developing the content of the survey or using the survey within their community to improve or integrate progressive and sustainable choices in their community is welcome to email semplecity@yahoo.com or join the discussion Louisvillians Advancing Sustainable Transport Work group at yahoo groups or here at this site.
