You are mistaken.
(A reply to creativemindsunion's reply to my original post:)
First, you are replying in July to a message I posted in December when the number of supporters in our database was indeed just over 100. The current number of supporters is always posted on our home page, and it grew from 100 to over 200 by the time you posted your reply.
Secondly, the "issue" in my post was to celebrate the growing number of names in our (then brand new) database of supporters, not to go on about who's a martyr and who's a shirker.
Thirdly, it's not the Secretary's job (or that of the nonexistent finance and outreach committees) to enter the supporters' names into the database. I specifically designed the database so the same people who gather the supporters' names can easily enter them online. (Just log in and click on the supporters link in the right hand column.) And that system appears to have worked just fine, without any autocratic division of labor.
Fourthly, you somehow find the radio production workshops relevant to my post and complain that no one is promoting them. You were one of the two people to suggest these workshops in the first place. And you have scheduled them to take place on a weekend night (when they are least likely to draw participants), downtown (outside the station's coverage area), and in a place where there's no Internet access (so we can't access the station's computer). As the organizer of these events, it is your job to publicize them. If you don't have time to publicize them, then you shouldn't organize them in the first place. We are a DIY center. DIY.
In a non-hierarchical organization it is inappropriate for one person to assign tasks to others without their consent and then criticize when these assignments are not followed.
