| Please join us on Wednesday, March 31st at 7 PM as author Lynn Reardon tells the story of her transformation from office drone to racehorse whisperer. Her new book, Beyond the Homestretch, recounts how, in 2004, she quit her day job, moved to Texas, and founded LOPE (LoneStar Outreach to Place Ex-Racers). Although she was woefully unprepared, horses needing help started arriving almost immediately -- 40 the first year, 112 the next. Lynn's story is an engaging and inspiring look at what can happen when a woman makes a bold career change and follows her heart.
